- Passaro, A. et al., 2024, Amivantamab plus chemotherapy with and without lazertinib in EGFR-mutant advanced NSCLC after disease progression on osimertinib: primary results from the phase III MARIPOSA-2 study

Intervention Event Serious treatment-emergent AEs were observed in 32% of patients treated with amivantamab-chemotherapy, and 20% with chemotherapy. The most common serious treatment-emergent AEs (5% or higher in any arm) were thrombocytopenia, neutropenia, and febrile neutropenia. Discontinuation due to AEs occured in 18% (n = 24) patients treated with amivantamab-chemotherapy and 4% (n = 9) with chemotherapy. |
Control Event Treatment-related AEs leading to death were infrequent in all arms; there were two (2%) deaths in the amivantamab-chemotherapy arm, four (2%) in the amivantamab-lazertinib-chemotherapy arm, and one (0.4%) in the chemotherapy arm. No clear pattern of specific AEs leading to death was detected. |
Results per outcome AEs of grade 3 or higher, mainly due to hematologic toxicities: -72% of patients treated with amivantamab-chemotherapy -92% with amivantamab-lazertinib-chemotherapy -48% with chemotherapy |
